Another Turbo Thunder in the books!

Turbo Thunder X is done, and while we couldn't actually be there this year, we were happy to be the main sponsor for the event! Special thanks to Gene Fleury and Dan Miller at Speedway Automotive Repair for putting together a great event! Congratulations to Dennis Hogan, who, with a brand new (to him) turbo Regal, cleaned up the competition and took home the big prize!

Turbo Thunder IX is Done

And man, it was a lot of fun! Gene Fleury once again put together his famous event, and TLP was happy to help sponsor for the third year in a row!

Despite several mechanical setbacks, our Buick, PRBCHLD did great, taking home the "Fastest Stock Block Buick" trophy again. A great time was had by all. Congratulations to all of the class winners!

Turbo Thunder VIII!

For the second year in a row, TLP was pleased to sponsor the Turbo Thunder race at Bremerton Raceway. Gene Fleury puts on a great event, and this year was no different. For the first time this year, TLP also had a car racing: our very own turbo Regal - PRBCHLD. We did well, taking home the honor of "Quickest Stock Block Buick" with a series of high 10s runs! Congratulations to all of the class winners!

Turbo Thunder VII a success!

This year, TLP was pleased to sponsor the Turbo Thunder VII race at Bremerton Raceway. Thanks to the organizer, Gene Fleury, and the many great participants, the event went off beautifully! Congratulations to all of the class winners!

TLP June Dyno-Day Report

On Saturday, we took the shop Terminator down to Intec Racing in Kent. The Intec guys were, as always, very gracious hosts! Using nothing but an SCT SF handheld tuner, we polished up the tune on Mike Rasmussen's beautiful 2004 Mystichrome coupe, allowing him to take full advantage of his recent BPU mods to the tune of 430whp and 450ft-lbs on a nice, conservative 91 octane timing curve. We were experimenting with our shop car, running a ported blower combo that we put on at the 11th hour with stock intake and exhaust. It turned out to be a bad idea, listening to the motor trying to breathe through a straw, but it was fun nonetheless. All in all, it was a great time and we got some good pics and video to share with our web customers.

TLP upgrades to the SCT Advantage III tuning software!

In our effort to stay on the cutting edge of automotive tuning technology, TLP has just acquired the latest Advantage III tuning software from Superchips Custom Tuning. Now we can provide you with the best tuning option available for your late model Ford vehicle!

TLP May Dyno-Day was a success!

Thanks to all those who came out to the TLP Dyno-Day at Intec Racing in Kent!

We had a great turnout! The shop 2006 SRT-8 (SRT-8U2) put down 383rwhp hot with just a Magnaflow header-back and we got that pesky Procharged 1999 SVT Cobra purring like a kitten with a solid 402rwhp and a super-safe A/F across the board.

A couple of other interesting runs were the 1999 SVT Cobra Convertible bone stock baseline (a solid 275whp) and the monster of the day, a 2006 AMG E-55, bone stock, that slapped everything else down (>400rwhp >450ft-lbs!).

TLP enters the 5.7 and 6.1 Chrysler and Dodge Hemi performance market!

Through a recent arrangement with HEMI performance pioneers, GS Motorsports, TLP is now distributing supercharger kits and other performance upgrades for this wildly successful family of Mopar vehicles.

TLP is a SuperChips Custom Tuning Partner!

TLP is pleased to announce that, in partnership with the great folks at SuperChips Custom Tuning, we can now offer custom EEC chips and flash tuners for late model Ford vehicles! We have several preset tunes available for remote delivery or can be scheduled to do dyno tuning for your vehicle.

TLP is now distributing RaceLogic Racing Traction Control Systems

Are you traction-limited? We are, and if you are as well, you know how frustrating the problem of putting the power to the ground can be.

In an attempt to solve that problem, TLP has partnered with RaceLogic UK to bring the excellent RaceLogic TC racing traction control system to high horsepower cars in the U.S.A. This traction control system works by monitoring your wheel speed sensors (from already installed ABS) and modulating engine output (via selective full fuel injector cut) to maintain a selectable level of wheel spin from 0-20%.

With this system installed and configured, you can put the pedal to the floor in your torque monster on any quality of surface from bone dry to icy slick and always be assured to get just the amount of power that you can actually hook: with no effort from the driver!
